Sixu offers Domain Registration through one of the largest domain registrars for small businesses. Every domain registration with Sixu includes Free Private Registration PrivatePrivate Registration helps ensure your personal contact details are kept private and not listed in the public WHOIS domain registrant database. Most domain registrars make contact details for domain registrants public by default, which allows many unscrupulous entities to try and steal domains with misleading invoices and expiration notifications. Another advantage of private registration is the prevention of SPAM sent to the contact email address of a domain registration. (a $20 value).
When you register your domain with Sixu, we'll take care of all the basic DNS management and also make sure to remind you when your domain is about to expire so you don't need to pay costly "domain recovery" fees. All this for half the price of Network Solutions and even less than GoDaddy (with private registration).

.Pro Domains
Sixu now offers .PRO domain registration. .PRO is an exclusive top-level domain reserved for use exclusively by licensed business and service professionals and entities internationally. All applicants meeting the following qualifications may register a .PRO domain name:
- Provides professional services
- Admitted to or licensed by a government certification body or jurisdictional licensing entity recognized by a governmental body that regularly verifies the accuracy of its data
- In good standing with the licensing authority
- Profession Name - The stated profession of the registrant. This information is required.
- Authority Name—The name of the authority from which the registrant receives their professional credentials. This information is optional.
- Authority Website—The URL to an online resource for the authority, preferably, a member search directory. This information is optional.
- License Number—The license number of the registrant's credentials, if applicable. This information is optional.
Domain Name Tips
- Keep it short - the less your clients need to type in to find you the better.
- Avoid dashes - these can be confusing and lead people to other sites.
- Make is easy to spell - big words may be available, but if people can't spell it, they won't find you.
- Avoid numbers - people won't know if they should type in sixu.com or 6u.com. I know. Lesson learned.
- Above all, be creative - it doesn't have to be your company name or make sense, just easy for people to remember. e.g. Does Amazon.com have anything to do with books?
